Shades of Dawn Necklace

I have seen necklaces like this a bit lately and I just thought they were beautiful!  I especially love the pearls with satin...so classy and really can dress anything up.  So, I had to try it out for myself and have decided to call them the "Shades of Dawn" Necklace line as I will be carrying them in my shop.

I just loved this saphire shade of blue...and the silver toned pearls looked gorgeous with it.  So here is my version of these necklaces I've seen around lately...

Shades of Dawn in Saphire Blue

The most difficult thing was making the rosette out of satin!!  I'm thinking I might have to do a seperate tutorial on that simply because I had to figure it out...I personally do NOT like the frayed look when it comes to satin, so I was hooked on trying to figure out how to keep those frayed edges hidden.

AND I FIGURED IT OUT!

I mean, look at that rosette...zero frayed edges :) I likey!

Ahhh...man...I love this necklace.  I think it would be perfect as a bridesmaid gift, or for the bride.  I wore mine tonight with a baby pink shirt with silver threads...and a pair of jeans.  You could really go so many ways with this necklace.

I'm sure there are some of you who could figure making this necklace out in a heartbeat, but if there are some of you who would like to see a tutorial, I am going to be making a few more of these. I am happy to put together one.

Come on!  What do ya think??
